Prayers For Today

Are you struggling with what words to use when praying? Our Prayers for Today will help you to express yourself to Jesus. Each prayer we have prepared is meant as a guide. We encourage you to substitute what we have prepared into your own words. God looks at the sincerity of the heart while praying. If it is too hard to substitute the words and you pray with a sincere heart the Lord will hear you. It is up to God in His infinite wisdom in how He answers you.

Freedom From Alcohol Addiction Sample Prayer

Lord Jesus I confess You as my Savior. Lord I declare my dependance on You. Jesus I commit my life into Your hands. Jesus I pray that You would set me free from my addiction to alcohol. Lord I invite You to search my heart, my mind and my emotions. Lord prune away those things which are hurting me. Lord I pray my freedom from alcohol would be a testimony of Your grace and a witness to the power of God in my life so Your Kingdom is strengthened here on this earth. Jesus please send me the practical help I need. Grant me the strength and courage to look myself in the mirror. Lord I humble myself before You. Let the transformation begin. Jesus I commit my life into Your hands. I declare my body to be a temple of Your Holy Spirit. Thank you for never giving up on me Jesus. Amen
